This is Memorial Day Weekend in the United States, a time when we honor those who have served in our military and given the ultimate sacrifice. Many of my family members have served in the armed forces — my father, my uncles, and my foster brother. I’m grateful that all of them came home safe. And I’m deeply thankful and honored beyond measure by all of those who chose to give their lives that our country could be safe.
